ABOUT
-----
Greetings! I'm Scott Clewell (pronounced "clue wool"), a software engineer with a specialization in backend development.
With over eight years of experience in the tech sector, I craft robust solutions to difficult problems. I love learning
new programming languages, and I'm always excited to learn new frameworks and technologies. My professional journey has led me through
many projects, including websites, servers, backend data pipelines, and embedded systems. From database architecture, highly
concurrent servers, to optimizing performance, I find joy in creating seamless and efficient software experiences.
Beyond the coding realm, I'm an avid runner who embraces the physical and mental challenges that come with each stride.
Running serves as my reset button, allowing me to recharge and enhance my creativity. A lot of my breakthroughs occur
when I'm hitting the pavement.
When I'm not immersed in code, you'll find me in the pages of a good book. Whether fiction, non-fiction, tech-related literature,
or even instructions for driving a nuclear reactor,
I'm a firm believer in the power of continuous learning. Gaming is another
long-time hobby of mine, providing a platform for both relaxation (unless it's Dark Souls) and collaboration. Photography is my
chosen medium for visual storytelling. From capturing breathtaking landscapes to the essence of bustling city life, I enjoy
sharing my perspective through the lens.
Join me on this multifaceted journey where the precision of code meets the rhythm of running, the depth of literature,
the thrill of gaming, and the artistry of photography. Let's explore the fascinating intersection of technology and life
together!
